I’m Natalie Morgan, a Veterinary Nurse and lifelong lover of the Swedish Vallhund. For over 23 years, I’ve been devoted to preserving this incredible breed.
Alongside my wonderful breeding partners at Rahkantra, I focus on raising Vallhunds who are healthy, confident, and a joy to share your life with.
Our breeding program blends international heritage with the New Zealand lifestyle, drawing on exceptional bloodlines from Sweden, Finland, Australia, the UK and USA, to ensure each dog is true to their heritage, full of character, and ready for adventure.
Whether curled up on the couch, working stock, or racing through dog‑sport courses, these dogs give their all — and then some.

Health & Responsible Breeding
We take the health of our Swedish Vallhunds to heart.
Every one of our breeding dogs is fully health tested including hip scored, DNA panel tested and genetic diversity tested via UC Davis and Wisdom in the USA. They also undergo thorough eye checks by a qualified ophthalmologist here in NZ before they’re ever considered for breeding.
While the Swedish Vallhund is generally considered a robust and healthy breed we like to go the extra mile via a careful considered approach to ensure that both we — and our puppy families — can look forward to welcoming a happy, healthy puppy with a long, joyful life ahead.
